Vaca Vieja is a mixed European breed of cattle raised in Australia for meat. 

American Vaca Vieja is typically a retired dairy cow, while ours is not. Our Vaca Vieja cattle are raised intently for meat as is done traditionally in Spain. The main difference is that we take into account sustainability practices and seek out 100% grass-fed pastured cows.

We searched for a long time and found it to be the most similar to what is found in Spain. When you take it out of the packaging you're truly captivated by the authentic beef aroma!
